Step 1: Measure height
Use a tape measure to determine the available height at the installation point. This must be at least 50 mm to ensure correct cassette mounting.
Step 2: Measure width at mounting point
Measure with a tape measure or laser from left to right between the rafters, exactly where the cassette will be mounted. Take multiple measurements for maximum accuracy. The width must be between 400 mm and 980 mm.
Step 3: Measure depth
Measure from front to back with a tape measure or laser (max. 4000 mm). To be safe, measure this on both the left and right sides of the track. Always state the smallest measured dimension.
Step 4: Check width over the entire depth
For final inspection, measure the width between the beams again at several points across the entire depth. This prevents the system from jamming when extended. Again, always state the smallest measured dimension (range: 400 mm - 980 mm).
